Germany's largest contiguous solar park is being built near Leipzig.
SCHEIDT is supporting the energy transition as a pioneering part of the largest, non-state-subsidised solar park in Germany and one of the largest solar parks in Europe: the Witznitz Energy Park. Directly on Lake Hain, on a total area of 650 hectares, of which around 500 hectares are contiguous and a further 150 hectares are compensation areas, 1.1 million photovoltaic modules are to be installed here by the end of 2023 for an installed system output of 650 megawatts per year. Such a plant, such a large-scale solar park, also needs a competent partner who can supply the entire spectrum for its realisation: SCHEIDT.
Largest single order to date for SCHEIDT with 207 transformer stations alone.
The definition of performance in such a large-scale project begins with solutions that have been thought through down to the last detail, high-quality construction modules and building structures. In addition, comprehensive service must be guaranteed when it comes to supplying 207 small compact stations plus control cells and large switch houses, transformer troughs and walk-in stations for a total volume of approx. 6.75 million euros. No problem for SCHEIDT as a well-known problem solver. The first station was delivered from October 2021, and since then the construction process up to completion has been based on a clear site layout analogous to the respective construction areas in a planned sequence. Everything from a single source. Everything so that renewable energy can flow in the future.
Customised for a sustainable and economical energy future.
The list of individual project components is impressive: 207 x NZ 240/360 XXL as well as 9 x NZ 150/300 joint stations and 9 x BEK control cells/centre stations. The requirement and completion of the energy park also includes 2 x the building combination for 110 kV transformer stations, 3 x switching houses for 380 kV transformer stations plus 2 x one transformer tank complex each for the 380 kV transformer station.
TEAM SCHEIDT: Proven performance for major projects.
As comprehensive as the SCHEIDT equipment for the Witznitz Energy Park is, so is the teamwork in production with the Arnstadt and Hoyerswerda sites - beyond the main plant in Rinteln. The combination of proven technology, high innovative strength and highly qualified personnel brings together what belongs together for sustainable, customised and green energy solutions. With today's technology for tomorrow. For a better world, characterised by mutual respect, when people and nature take centre stage. Typical SCHEIDT.
Well-founded construction and bold thinking - together with project partners such as MOVE ON Energy, SCHEIDT is setting the tone for forward-looking, solar energy generation.
For 1.1 million photovoltaic modules in Germany's largest contiguous solar park, the right stations, switchgear houses and buildings, including electrical installations, are also needed: from SCHEIDT.
Every move is perfect: SCHEIDT experts at work. By the end of 2023, the Witznitz energy park will have an output of 650 megawatts.
