Vocational training at SCHEIDT
What should I become? Which profession suits me? Do I absolutely have to study to be happy and successful? These questions are on the minds of all young people planning their professional future. Some of them found their answers at SCHEIDT:

"I started training as an MTA, dropped out and then spent years trying to find out what I liked," explains Jessica Fälsch (23) her professional orientation phase. "When I was given the opportunity to do an internship at SCHEIDT in Hoyerswerda, I liked it so much that I first extended the internship period and am now doing an apprenticeship at SCHEIDT as an apprentice. Mechatronics technician graduate." Plant manager Gerd Zimmermann is familiar with their situation: he repeatedly deals with young people who have failed in the traditional school system and yet have talents that they can use to create career prospects for themselves in training.

The Arnstadt plant already started a year ago Florian-Paul Jachtner (18) into professional life: "I want to Concrete worker and the conditions at SCHEIDT are much better than on the construction site." Jachtner first got a taste of SCHEIDT through a kind of internship and is happy to have been accepted as an apprentice at SCHEIDT.

The SCHEIDT headquarters in Rinteln is once again offering commercial training: The future Industrial clerk Jaron Wildhagen (19) expect challenging tasks: "We are a small team in the administration department," says HR officer and trainer Nikolas Heise. "From day one, we fully involve Jaron Wildhagen in all processes and tasks. We also assign him the planning of a trade fair appearance from A to Z."

Robin Tillich (21) passed his intermediate examination in May 2023 Electronics technician for industrial engineering with results well above the chamber average. The entire SCHEIDT team congratulates him and is delighted for him. Robin Tillich originally studied electrical engineering, but then cancelled his studies due to distance learning. So he started an apprenticeship at SCHEIDT in Hoyerswerda.

SCHEIDT is also the right address for working students or dual students from various degree programmes. "We have many exciting topics that would be suitable for a thesis," assures young Managing Director Georgine Scheidt.

SCHEIDT is currently training apprentices in these professions: Mechatronics technician, electrician for industrial engineering, concrete and reinforced concrete worker and - sporadically - industrial clerk. Interested young people - both male and female - can familiarise themselves with the reality of the profession by completing an internship. However, a first step towards familiarising yourself with what you can learn at SCHEIDT would be to watch the company video:
