Rinteln plant: SCHEIDT continues to expand production.

New 2-bay 4,000 m2 hall for more capacity is built.
What has not happened since the first excavators moved in at the end of January 2023 to make room for something new at the Rinteln plant! With the starting signal in calendar week 4, all signs now point to the future, as this is where the final production of our stations will take place in a state-of-the-art production hall. With the planned completion in April 2024, the SCHEIDT team will have optimal conditions for the façade design, for the installations by the fitters and for the electrical expansion. All processes will then be perfectly aligned with the company's production process and utilise the potential of the energy transition. The modern new building with a total hall area of 4,000 m2 will increase the weekly capacity by at least 33 per cent!

An investment volume of € 14,000,000 in the future.
"There are many reasons to invest - to be market-orientated and to set a pioneering course in good time: That's what sets us apart," says Georgine Scheidt, Managing Director of the company. The expansion of production is a significant step full of innovative strength for the entire company. However, before everyone can benefit from the new space and comprehensive equipment, there is still a lot to be removed from the site that has been in use for many years. During the remodelling period, sanitary containers will be available with a professional level of hygiene. Everyone is already looking forward to the final result when the new hall is "up and running" and ready.

Sustainable transformation: The entire site is being renovated to make it more energy-efficient.
SCHEIDT is driven by issues such as climate protection and the energy transition. Ecologically, economically and socially. With the construction of the new hall, we are making our contribution to the power supply across the entire roof area with a supplementary photovoltaic system. This enables us to manage our day-to-day production with 450 kW of power, mostly self-sufficiently, as 2,500 m2 of the 4,000 m2 roof area is covered with PV alone, with the rest being skylight domes, etc. The SCHEIDT office already has PV on the roof and is already self-sufficient with a heat pump.

Working where tomorrow is already being created today.
The future can come: because SCHEIDT makes it - day after day. Use for all this Reinforced concrete worker, locksmith, painter and electrician (m/f/d) your chance to join us. The 1-shift system for regular working hours, a familiar, appreciative working atmosphere and the wealth of further training and promotion opportunities in a crisis-proof industry are convincing advantages that speak in favour of SCHEIDT. With the new production hall, all opportunities are open to all interested parties.

SCHEIDT's new 4,000 m2 2-bay production hall at the Rinteln plant for finishing the stations: full of innovative ideas from planning to moving in. Planned completion: April 2024.

Demolition hurts, progress is good: the excavators move in for the worthwhile goal. After the conversion, the new hall will also be able to offer large, heavy stations weighing over 45 tonnes.

Switching to the future: as part of the new building, the entire site, including the existing halls, is being modernised to make it more energy-efficient. Even the forklift trucks will be electric in future.
