SCHEIDT- References

Supply stations, switchgear houses, buildings and electrical installations: Renowned companies rely on SCHEIDT. And rightly so. Because we are the tailor-made solution for a perfect result.

Wahlsburg flood station

Request:

A small station was needed in the middle of a flood zone, directly on the river. A standard solution was not an option.
SCHEIDT solution:
A SCHEIDT SYSTEM NZ was produced off-site, a high separate basement was poured for the station and a new structural analysis was calculated for buoyancy safety. Despite the height of the station (based on customer specifications/flood level), the transport was carried out in one piece.
Result:
A flood-proof station whose internal components are protected even in the event of rising or pressurised water.

Special paint job Marine Den Helder

Request:

A station should be built directly on the coast, where the air has a high salt content, where hurricanes of force 12 can occur and spring tides can be expected: wind-, water- and salt-proof.
SCHEIDT solution:
SCHEIDT applied a special coating to prevent carbonisation of the station. The reinforcement was statically designed for wind force 12. Due to the elevated station construction on a footbridge, doors and ventilation grilles are higher and are therefore protected from spring tides.
Result:
SCHEIDT produced a station that can withstand even the most difficult weather conditions and, thanks to its special design, can withstand the special loads.

Kinon Aachen fire protection station

Requirement:

A station for installing very large transformers, distance to the next inhabited house: less than 5 metres! Such a short distance required special fire protection measures.
SCHEIDT solution:
Due to their size and height, the transformers could not be placed on the raised floor - which is why this was omitted and they were installed in the basement. SCHEIDT sold the first station with the first ever outdoor fire door.
Result:
Despite challenging conditions, the construction of a fire-safe station for large transformers was guaranteed at a short distance from the neighbouring building.

Bad Oeynhausen municipal utilities

Request:
Ensuring consistent, good water quality for the city's residents with around 13,800 house connections to the mains network. In demand: buildings for use as pressure boosting systems, pumping stations, filter and well systems.
SCHEIDT solution:
  • Water treatment system for 30 m³/h
  • Water treatment system for 100 m³/h with separate control room
  • Pumping station up to 160 m³/h incl. emergency generator room
Result:
Everything done right with SCHEIDT! The measurement results to the north and south of the Werre document that the limit values for drinking water, which flows through more than 430 kilometres of underground supply pipes, have not been exceeded.

"Auf der Nemphe" in Frankenberg

Request:
Integration of a walk-in transformer station without a basement in the city centre.
SCHEIDT solution:
  • Walk-in transformer station without basement
  • Arc fault proof
  • with attractive wood panelling for seamless integration into the cityscape
  • Roof area as a "recreational area" for city visitors
  • Only the expert can see that a transformer station is hidden there
Result:
Ensuring a continuous urban power supply while optimising space utilisation without endangering pedestrian traffic.

Further application examples in practice

Bremerhaven
For the world's longest power quay, Container Terminal 4 in Bremerhaven (1681 metres long), SCHEIDT supplied the cable ducts, among other things.
Wind turbines
Delivery of 21 SCHEIDT stations for the Uetze wind farm (Lower Saxony), Total output: 31.5 MW.
Photovoltaic systems
  • Delivery of a 500 and 1000 kW station for two roof systems in Laimering (Bavaria), 1064.9 kWp FV output.
  • Delivery of an FV system for a hall roof in Tödtenried (Bavaria) with a total FV output of 494.9 kWp.
Bremerhaven
For the world's longest power quay, Container Terminal 4 in Bremerhaven (1681 metres long), SCHEIDT supplied the cable ducts, among other things.
Biogas plants
Delivery SCHEIDT SYSTEM BEK 300-650, transformer generation: 1250 kVA; Transformer own consumption: 250 kVA.
Cable ducts
  • Halle-Leipzig: Production and delivery of 380 cable ducts within 4 months.
  • Container Terminal Bremerhaven: Cable ducts for the electrical and data supply as well as energy supply points for refrigerated containers.

Photovoltaic park in Great Britain

Request:

To complete a photovoltaic park, the task was to develop and plan walk-in 1 and 2-room stations with the customer, including taking over the entire logistics and completion on site. Authorised station width: max. 2.50 m!

SCHEIDT solution:
  • 1-room BEK, in which the transformer/inverter/switchgear are housed in a tested system in just one room (unique to date)
  • 2-room BEK as a building combination: Each station is always used if either the components are too large for one room or if they are not authorised due to the size of the building
  • Ensuring the correct assembly into a combination through the support of SCHEIDT specialist teams
Result:
Delivery and installation of all transformer stations within a very short time for the commissioning of the photovoltaic park, output: 50 MW.

NEK, equipped with 4.5 MVA transformer!

Request:
To operate a wind farm, the customer needed a transformer station with a significantly higher output and the smallest possible footprint.
SCHEIDT solution:
  • SCHEIDT SYSTEM NEK with 3 m width and 5 m length (low overall height), equipped with a 4.5 MVA transformer and switchgear
  • Reinforcement of the intermediate floor basement/station top section with special reinforcement and tested design to absorb the load-bearing capacity
Result:
Taking into account and fulfilling all customer requirements (non-accessible station building with the smallest possible footprint - also in terms of height), SCHEIDT developed a station that guarantees wind farm operation in a tested manner.

Transfer station for industrial use

Request:

Ensuring the transfer of energy from the power supply network to the consumer in compliance with special requirements. The special machines in use generate an overvoltage that must not enter the grid. It must also be ensured that the reactive power caused by electric motors is compensated.

SCHEIDT solution:
  • SCHEIDT SYSTEM BEK 300-630
  • Integrated MS billing measurement for direct billing with the supplier
  • Built-in special transformer 630 kVA
  • NSH distribution with 2 additional billing measurements for internal use
  • Equipped with compensation and mains filter systems
  • Customised design: with the option of subsequent connection to a wind farm
Result:
Transfer station of the highest concrete and electrical engineering quality, which shields the grid from undesirable external influences and ensures the customer/consumer a constant, demand-orientated energy flow and is flexible for future projects.
