Blue GIS relies on completely SF6-free switching technology, offering a substantial improvement over conventional solutions. SF6, a potent greenhouse gas with a global warming potential about 22,800 times greater than CO₂, has been widely used in switchgear. By eliminating this gas, the new system actively contributes to greenhouse gas reduction and already meets strict EU regulations set to ban SF6 in new medium-voltage switchgear starting in 2026.
